Jai Krishnaswamy is a senior visual effects compositor with over 15 years of experience crafting cinematic imagery for film and television. Based in Vancouver, he has worked in Toronto and Montreal at studios including Framestore and MPC/Mr. X, contributing to projects like the Oscar-winning The Shape of Water, Foundation, and His Dark Materials.

Blending a strong technical foundation with a cinematographer’s eye, Jai focuses on creating work that feels grounded, immersive, and visually cohesive. Whether leading shots or collaborating across departments, his approach is rooted in precision, storytelling, and pushing each frame to final pixel quality.

Outside of visual effects, Jai has a deep passion for photography, where he continues to explore light, composition, and visual storytelling through a more personal and observational lens.
